Alella is a municipality in the El Maresme region, belonging to the province of Barcelona. Located about 2km from the sea and about 18km from the capital.
The agriculture of this town is based mainly on wine production. In fact, there is a significant production of wine, with its own denomination of origin. The Alella Vinícola Cooperative was founded in 1906, it is the main producer and was one of the first cooperative wineries in Catalonia. Ornamental flowers are also grown, mainly roses and carnations.
As for the buildings of interest that we can find we have: the church of San Félix, Cal Marqués, Casa Alella or de las Cuatro Torres, the Can Magarola farmhouse and Cal Gobernador, among others.
