Castelldefels is a municipality in the province of Barcelona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. It belongs to the Baix Llobregat region and has a population of 67,226 inhabitants.
Originally made up of a series of scattered farmhouses, in the mid-20th century Castelldefels became a summer resort for many Barcelonans.
It is a very attractive town due to its location next to the beach but also due to its university and research centers.
As monuments and places of interest we would highlight the Olympic Channel, the Church of Santa María, different climbing areas such as Penya Ginesta, Roca Negra or Dona Morta, a castle built in the 10th century and its incredible beaches with more than five kilometers in length.
